Akonadi Foundation is a place-based philanthropic organization based in Oakland, California, focused on advancing racial justice through its long-running efforts dating back to 2000. It is among the early family foundations to place racial justice at the center of its activities, collaborating with organizers on the frontlines of Oakland's movement for justice.

Its program areas include organizing, advocacy, healing, and culture to strengthen the power and voice of Black communities and other communities of color. In early 2021 it launched Creatives in Place, a listening project that highlights Bay Area artists and their experiences during times of upheaval. It has also created initiatives such as All in for Oakland to reduce the criminalization of Black youth and youth of color in the city.
