Al Aan TV was a Dubai-based pan-Arab satellite channel that operated from 2006 to 2025. In the broadcast media production and distribution industry, it functioned as a free-to-air broadcaster that reached audiences across the region via Arabsat and Nilesat, while also expanding its footprint as a publisher of original Arabic news and entertainment on digital platforms. The network began with a focus on Arab women and gradually broadened its reach to younger audiences across the Arab world. It promoted informed discussion on major social issues such as women's empowerment, employment, health awareness, education, human rights, and the rejection of extremism and violence. It trained hundreds of young media professionals and produced thousands of hours of original Arabic content, expanding access to regional and global perspectives on health, politics, society and culture, and it launched Ana Mawjoud in 2023 and Stimulus Boost TV in 2020 to support youth voices and advertisers during the Covid-19 period.
