A&L Shielding Inc. began operations in the small northwest Georgia town of Rome in 1958, where we still continue our solid traditions of quality production and top-flight service. Our decades of shielding expertise combined with our knowledgeable employees — many of whom have been with us for more than 30 years — is a heritage that makes us proud. We distinguish ourselves through our strong belief in customer satisfaction and exceptional customer service, and we endeavor to build our client relationships on these foundations with each and every client interaction.

Our products range from standard lead shielding to highly-customized building materials and are available in a variety of shielding shapes in both solid lead and lead covered in steel or other rigid material. We manufacture and ship the majority of our products in 10 working days. This includes custom lead-lined wood doors, door and window frames, drywall and glazing.

A&L operates in company-owned facilities dedicated to the environmentally safe manufacture of lead-lined products. The design of our plant and safety practices of our personnel ensure that we will continue to be a responsible member of the community as environmental regulations evolve with time.
