Alarm Will Sound is a New York-based contemporary music ensemble located at 51 Wooster Street, New York, NY 10013. The group performs and records modern music, focusing on demanding works and a high level of technical skill and expressive performance. It serves as the resident ensemble at the Mizzou International Composers Festival in Columbia, Missouri, and has held artist-in-residence positions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art during 2013–14. Alarm Will Sound has released a number of recordings, including Splitting Adams and the premiere recording of Steve Reich’s Radio Rewrite; its Acoustica album features live-performance arrangements of music by Aphex Twin.
