Alaska Structures®, a division of AKS Industries, Inc., designs and manufactures fabric buildings and remote camp systems for use in challenging field environments. Based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the company produces custom-designed, durable fabric structures made in the United States and targeted for modular workforce accommodations, offices and classrooms, mining and construction camps, oilfield housing, and related storage or workshop facilities. The product family includes a wide range of building models and hundreds of sizes with extensive customization options, as well as retractable building systems.

Its fabric buildings are engineered to meet safety codes for local and international markets, offering alternatives to traditional construction, steel buildings, trailers, and containerized units. Alaska Structures also supplies a portfolio of support products, including portable HVAC and heating, power and lighting systems, sanitation facilities, modular flooring, furniture, and energy-saving components. The company has pursued international expansion, with facilities expanded to Poland in 2022, and previously partnered with KBR to deploy a 1,000-person turnkey base camp in Powidz, Poland, in 2017.
