Albioma is a renewable energy developer and operator with activity across overseas France, Mauritius and Brazil. The group has long partnered with the sugar industry to convert bagasse, a byproduct of sugar cane, into renewable power, a model that underpins its biomass generation. It also develops photovoltaic projects with integrated storage, aiming to be a leading overseas solar generator while pursuing a broader goal of 100% renewable energy by 2030. Albioma has expanded its energy mix by acquiring geothermal assets in Turkey, beginning with Gümüsköy in 2021 and adding a second Turkish asset in 2022. More recently, the company installed its first solar power plant with integrated storage on a shopping centre roof in Saint-Pierre, Reunion Island, illustrating its storage-enabled solar capabilities and geographic expansion. The group is headquartered in Paris La Défense, Île-de-France, and maintains a presence across overseas territories, Europe and the Americas.
