Albion Investors is a private investment firm based in New York. Albion invests in buy-outs, recapitalizations and growth equity. We focus on two areas of direct investing: first, we seek to be a lead investor in micro-cap investments, which typically fall below the initial investment size of most institutional portfolios and then grow these companies to a size where they are within the range. Second, we look to partner and co-invest with other institutional investors in transactions with EBITDA greater than $4mm. We do not invest in venture capital and nor in industries involving rapidly developing technology or fashion. Typically our preferred targets are in the manufacture of high quality, critical components where service, including prompt delivery, is an important part of the product requirement.
