Aleck Wilson Architects is a San Francisco based full service architectural firm established in 1998.   With projects across the western states, the work is primarily residential with some retail and hospitality projects.  

Design Philosophy

AWA’s design process is one that emphasizes spatial and contextual relationships, rather than a particular style.  Our designs favor a rich use and interplay of materials and detailing woven into clear expressions of form.   The resulting architecture is well conceived, timeless and fulfills the aspirations of our clients.

Each project is approached as a unique exploration of the site and program and focuses on establishing a strong relationship with our Clients.   As projects develop, we involve the resources and talent of our numerous specialty consultants, builders, craftsman and artists allowing us to bring a wealth of experience to the project team.

Whether working on straight forward renovations to more complex and larger projects, our collective years of experience in architecture and construction have yielded numerous successful projects and gratified clients.
