For more than a century, Alessi Bakery has been a cornerstone of Tampa Bay. Founded in 1912 by Nicolo Alessi, our bakery has grown through five generations of family leadership, blending European tradition with American innovation. In October 2025, we proudly open our brand-new 20,000 sq. ft. Alessi Bakeries Food Market at 3003 W. Cypress Street—a modern expansion of our heritage and a bold step into the future. Our new facility will feature: An expanded bakery with 11 display cabinets of cakes, cookies, and pastries A state-of-the-art deli and catering department with multiple live cooking stations A café with healthy breakfast and brunch options, smoothies, acai bowls, and artisan coffee Woodfired Neapolitan pizza, rotisserie chicken, gourmet salads, and oven-roasted vegetables A full liquor bar for dining and events A family-friendly petting zoo to make every visit memorable At Alessi, our mission remains the same as it was in 1912: to provide quality, consistency, and hospitality with every product we make.
