All Across Africa is a Benefit Corporation that applies business methods to market development, training, and education for producers in Africa, connecting them to markets in developed regions. The corporate form requires balancing social, environmental, and investor considerations alongside financial performance. Its model focuses on rural communities, aiming to create dignified employment and foster self-sufficiency by offering artisans a market-oriented package that includes education, materials, financing, training, and market access. Its clients are artisans and producers in underserved rural areas who seek sustainable income through direct market connections rather than handouts. Based in San Diego, California, the organization operates in the wholesale industry as a bridge between rural producers and developed markets, maintaining a small to mid-sized team.
