Founded in 1976 by local residents, the Allen Sports Association is a volunteer-driven nonprofit focused on youth sports. It serves children in Allen, Lucas, and Fairview by offering year-round programs and the leadership necessary to sustain activities for participants of all levels.

ASA provides ten sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, lacrosse, inline hockey, soccer, softball, track, and volleyball. Each year more than 15,000 participants enroll, supported by more than 6,500 community volunteers in roles ranging from coaching to committee work. The organization is based in Allen, Texas, and collaborates with the City of Allen, the Allen Independent School District, and the Lovejoy School District to provide a clean and safe recreational environment.
