Allens Lane Art Center has been a cornerstone of the Mt. Airy community since 1953, by bringing neighbors together to participate in and enjoy the arts. The Center offers 4 core programs: Classes, Gallery, Summer Camp and Theater. Whether you're just starting out and think you might like to try your hand at making art, have children that need a summer to remember, are interested in meeting some of the best artists in our region, or if you're in love with watching your favorite plays come to life, each season we work hard to make a lineup of interesting programs just for you. OUR MISSION Allens Lane Art Center (ALAC) provides programs and activities that bring our diverse community together to experience and support the arts. These programs and activities are important because artistic experience and expression enhance our quality of life.
