The Alliance for Children's Rights is a nonprofit legal services organization based in Los Angeles, California, dedicated to protecting the rights of impoverished, abused, and neglected children in Los Angeles County. It works to secure healthcare, education, and financial support for families formed through adoption, foster care, and guardianship, and it addresses the needs of foster youth aging out of care without a permanent family. Its clients include children in foster care, runaway and emancipating youth, and both relative and non-relative caregivers, with the support of pro bono attorneys; together they have helped about 125,000 families achieve safe, stable homes, healthcare, and educational opportunity. Based in Los Angeles, it operates as a mid-sized nonprofit in the legal services sector. In August 2023, it launched an online tool called Watch My Baby Grow to support caregivers and parenting youth in foster care.
