The Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure (Aii) is an independent national think tank focused on infrastructure research, policy analysis, and education. It seeks to identify the nation’s infrastructure needs, raise awareness, and develop solutions to current and future public policy challenges, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and resilience across the country’s systems. Its work sits at the crossroads of economics, law, and public policy, examining topics such as climate, damage prevention, eminent domain, energy, infrastructure, technology, and transportation. Aii operates through two affiliated nonprofit organizations, the National Infrastructure Safety Foundation (NISF) and the Public Institute for Facility Safety (PIFS), both governed by volunteer boards in coordination with an advisory council.
