The Alliance for SoCal Innovation is a nonprofit formed in 2017 that convenes Southern California’s leading research institutions, local business leaders, and advisors to bridge gaps in the regional innovation ecosystem. Based in Pasadena, California, the organization seeks to unify the region’s diverse talent, ideas, and perspectives to create favorable conditions for innovators to bring breakthroughs to the world.

Its activities are aimed at the SoCal innovation community, including researchers, founders, and corporate sponsors, facilitating collaboration across academia, industry, and civic leadership. Positioned within the civic and social organizations sector, the Alliance functions as a coordinating hub that helps strengthen the region’s innovation pipeline. In early 2026, the Alliance expanded its corporate sponsorship network with new sponsors, including Capital Group, Deloitte, and Sunstone Management, and renewed its board leadership for 2026.
