Alliance Française de Lyon is a language and cultural education center operating within the professional training and coaching sector. Based in Lyon, France, it provides French instruction to non-native speakers, including general courses, specialized thematic classes, and training for professional contexts, along with cultural workshops to illuminate French civilization. The center also serves as an official examination hub for DELF/DALF and other assessments, reflecting its role in formal language certification. Its students come from around the world, including international students, expatriate workers, families, and travelers, with programs designed to support language learning and social integration. As part of the global Alliance Française network and holding the FLe label, it positions itself within a worldwide community of French-language education. A recent collaboration to support international students involved a Ciné Meeting event organized with ESN Cosmo Lyon and Université Lyon 1 in October 2023, underscoring its engagement with higher education networks.
