Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts is a mid-sized nonprofit organization that operates a multidisciplinary performing arts campus in Carmel, Indiana. It oversees three venues—the Palladium, a 1,600-seat concert hall; the Tarkington, a 500-seat proscenium theater; and the Studio Theater, a 200-seat black box. The center presents a broad calendar of performances and provides space and support for six resident companies: Actors Theatre of Indiana, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Central Indiana Dance Ensemble, Civic Theatre, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, and Indiana Wind Symphony. It maintains a close relationship with the Great American Songbook Foundation, which has offices and an exhibit gallery in the Palladium and works to preserve music from jazz, pop, Broadway, and Hollywood. The center also offers educational and outreach programming for patrons of all ages, including the Peanut Butter & Jam series for preschoolers, school videoconferences, and affordable experiential classes such as vocal, ukulele, stand-up comedy, and Dance Discovery. In 2026, the organization announced initiatives to improve accessibility for visitors who are hard of hearing and partnered on upgrading stage lighting fixtures to support more flexible productions.
