AlliedLocke Industries, founded in 1965 by Robert L. Crowson as Allied Chains, is based in Dixon, Illinois. The company started by producing steel detachable chains for the agricultural market, and its 1978 acquisition of Locke Steel Chain Co. broadened its offerings and led to the Allied-Locke Industries name.
