For over 40 years, Almaden Valley Counseling Service has provided counseling to individuals of all ages, couples and families.  Our fees are based on a sliding scale- or based upon ability to pay- with over 40% of our clients being seen at the lowest rates available. Our Counselor on Campus program includes on-site counseling at 30 public school campuses in 2 school districts and 2 private catholic school at no cost to the students or their families.  Our Parent Education Program provides both Positive Parenting and Cooperative Parenting and Divorce classes for high risk families.   We are focused on promoting personal growth, positive family relationships and emotional well-being for kids and families. AVCS is designated as one of the finest MFT, LPCC & LCSW Internship and Practicum sites in the South Bay area. Our Interns, Trainees and Supervisors pull from over 10 local Universities and speak over 8 languages.
