Every Alpenglow expedition is focused on a small group with guide to client ratios that allow for the teaching of mountaineering skills, safety and education in the big mountains.  All Alpenglow expeditions and climbs are led by AMGA/IFMGA certified guides.  The AMGA/IFMGA certification is an internationally recognized mountaineering certification that is considered the highest credential attainable by a mountain guide. Alpenglow Expeditions is the first major guide service in the US to require this certification from our lead guides.
