Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc. supports individuals with intellectual/developmental risks, delays or disabilities and their families to optimize quality of life. Since 1985.
Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc. endeavors to optimize the quality of life for children and adults who have been diagnosed with an intellectual and/or developmental risk, delay or disability (IDD). In our two programs, Early Intervention (EI) and Family Support Services (FSS), we serve adults and children with IDD and the families that support them. Alta Mira serves approximately one thousand of the most vulnerable children and adults in our community through direct therapeutic support, health and safety oversight, and advocacy. Our specialized staff provide essential services in the communities we serve to ensure the well-being and continued development of adults and children with disabilities. We strive to ensure that children and adults with IDD are given every opportunity to access their communities' resources and lead meaningful and productive lives. This includes access to equitable educational and career opportunities.
