The extensive training area consists of the Hendry County ALTAIR facility which is an 1150 acre training facility that used to be a maximum security prison with 60 buildings and over 360,000 sq ft of building space. It has lodging on-site, an airfield, multiple ranges with extensive other training capabilities; the 25-acre ALTAIR Deep Lake Training Complex, which used to be the Old Copeland Prison, deep in the Florida Everglades. It includes rifle/pistol ranges, helicopter landing capabilities and various other specialized training capabilities; the 39,000 acre airfield, the 10,000 Islands used for marine operations, and the Naples/Miami surrounding area venues are used for multiple training purposes.
