Alternative Press is a Los Angeles–based publisher focused on music and youth culture, operating across print and digital formats. With more than three decades in operation, it has grown from a mid-1980s fanzine into a widely recognized music magazine, offering in-depth interviews and exclusive photography. The organization employs a mid-sized team and serves fans and artists through its magazine, Altpress.com, and a dedicated mobile app, while also hosting live events like the AP Tour and the AP Music Award Show. In 2023, the brand expanded its activity through partnerships for exclusive vinyl variants with artists such as Spiritbox, Citizen, Health, Code Orange, Boys Like Girls, Manchester Orchestra, and Militarie Gun. These collaborations reflect a cross-channel approach that combines publishing, events, and collectibles to engage a fan base around contemporary music and cultural trends.
