What is reclaimed lumber?
Our reclaimed lumber – or recycled wood – is mostly reclaimed in the United States from old buildings, barns, factories and warehouses. Reclaimed wood comes from old-growth timber that was harvested from trees bigger and older than anything currently being harvested today.  As a result, this wood possesses superior characteristics to new-growth lumber.

Why buy FSC certified wood products?
FSC certified wood has been harvested from forests deemed to be practicing environmentally and economically responsible forestry. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organization that certifies forestry practices all over the world.  We offer FSC Certified beams, flooring, dimensioned lumber, decking, siding and shakes/shingles – all harvested sustainably from sources certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
