Amber Charter School, founded in 2000 as New York’s first Latino-led charter school, serves students across three campuses: East Harlem, Kingsbridge, and Inwood. From kindergarten through 8th grade, students benefit from Spanish language instruction alongside a core curriculum in literacy, math, science, and social studies. Enrichment programs include visual arts, music, physical education, and technology, while comprehensive special education services offer counseling, speech, occupational therapy, and ICT settings at Amber Kingsbridge Elementary. Our students consistently excel, with English language learners reaching fluency by 3rd grade. Through rigorous academics, cultural celebration, and strong student support, Amber Charter School nurtures the whole child, preparing them for success in high school and beyond.
