America Votes serves as a central coordinating body for the progressive movement, aligning a broad network of partners to push policy changes, influence elections, and safeguard voting rights. It partners with more than 400 state and national organizations and operates in more than 20 states. The organization offers services such as strategic planning, advocacy and electoral campaign coordination, data-driven targeting, and on-the-ground leadership in select states. Together, these activities help synchronize efforts across a diverse coalition. Based in Washington, D.C., America Votes is a mid-sized nonprofit. In 2024, the group marked its 20th anniversary and introduced its voter engagement and mobilization program at the organization’s 15th annual State Summit.
