History American Bus & Accessories, Inc. was originally started in 1955 as Wayne Sales, Inc. The founders of the company had a background in truck equipment and took advantage of an opportunity to become a new school bus distributor for Wayne Corporation. They soon became one of the more dominant school bus distributors in their territory. American Bus & Accessories, Inc. is committed to providing safety on the roadways through quality and integrity by exceeding our customer’s expectations. We promise premier service and the highest customer satisfaction. In 1986 Michael Roberts purchased the company and a new corporation was formed known as American Bus & Accessories, Inc. Today they are considered specialists in their market; lending expertise on the latest state and federal regulations, recommending the best equipment for a particular need, stocking up to date parts inventories, and providing the utmost in customer service. Over the years, the company has earned a reputation for being one of the premiere parts specialists in the region and currently represents several of the leading bus and van manufacturers such as ARBOC, Blue Bird, Braun Corporation, Champion Bus Inc., General Coach, Collins Bus Co, International and Thomas Built. Facilities The company is located on approximately five acres in Cincinnati, Ohio on Interstate 75. It operates out of a 10,000 square foot building with offices, a parts department and three service bays. American Bus & Accessories, Inc owns both the building and the land and currently leases approximately 10,000 square feet of warehouse space. Services American Bus and Accessories’ strengths have been our years of experience to effectively market a specialized product such as the school and commercial buses. With this experience, we have provided our customers with the following sales support services. Parts: Up to date original equipment replacement parts are readily available on a local basis. These can be delivered by your sales representative on the scheduled route, picked up for reduced down time or we can ship them UPS for next day delivery. We presently offer a complete stock of parts for buses and ship them daily.
