The American Classical Charter Academy is a Kindergarten - 8 TUITION FREE charter school, opening August 2019. Dedicated to providing a high quality classical education with superior educational results. As a public charter school, ACCA is free and available to all children (K-6 to start) in Osceola County, regardless of zip code.  ACCA features a classical format of education. Grammar, logic, and rhetoric the time tested educational system that has educated our youth for generations is now available on Hickory Tree Road in St. Cloud, Florida.  
The well-trained mind of a classically education child is one truly prepared for the 21st century.  Many parents agree that schools ought to prepare students for jobs with cutting edge skills; however most cannot define the skills needed for such jobs. This leads to a faulty understanding of quality education. Those who understand classical education also understand that humans are worthy of more than training for some future workforce. Children ought to be developed with good hearts and minds, with virtue and knowledge.
Technology changes so quickly that by the time today's children enter the workforce, their skills will be obsolete. What remains steadfast is the importance of critical thinking. The tools students need for success in life come from teachers who show them how to think rather than what to think.  Such education is critical to unleash the potential of the human mind, and it has stood the test of time for good reason.  Western Civilization used to view education this way, and ACCA aims to pioneer that past.
