American Dream Nut Butter was first launched by Lea Hurley, a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Board Certified in OB/GYN and Vascular with a minor in nutrition. As a health and fitness enthusiast, Lea believes in balance and not depriving yourself of delicious food – whether dieting or not!

Lea first started making her own nut butters when she developed a variety of food intolerances and couldn’t enjoy some of her favorite ‘junk’ food indulgences. With a lot of time spent in the kitchen testing and recipe creating, Lea figured out how to make nut butters taste like dessert, yet still, be healthy! That means ZERO fake sugars (no sucralose, no erythritol), gluten-free, low carb and low sugar, with butter bases that are naturally sweetened with Stevia!

What is most important to Lea and the team is that we source every ingredient (even purchasing the nuts directly from the farm) and ensure that whenever possible, each ingredient is grown or manufactured in the USA. American Dream also donates 10% of all proceeds to sending care packages to the troops overseas.
