American Fireproofing, Inc. (“AFI”) is a nationally recognized Chicago based contractor specializing in field and shop applied fireproofing and insulation services. These construction disciplines include spray applied, thin film intumescent and epoxy intumescent coating fireproofing, fire resistive board application, spray applied insulation and acoustical.

Our diverse client base is comprised of nuclear, industrial, commercial, healthcare, institutional and pharmaceutical entities. We are currently providing these services from the East Coast to Hawaii.

AFI has A Rated insurance, aggregate bonding capacity to fifty million dollars and is competitive on a national basis. We are licensed applicators of Carboline Companies, Isolatek International, WR Grace & Company, Albi Manufacturing and American Sprayed Fibers. AFI is a National Fireproofing Contractors Association Accredited Contractor for Sprayed Fire Resistive Materials and Intumescent Fire Resistive Materials as well as being NQA-1 certified.
