The American Gaming Association (AGA) is the national trade group for the U.S. casino industry, working to foster policy and business conditions that permit legal, regulated gaming to thrive. Its membership spans commercial and tribal casino operators, sports betting and iGaming companies, gaming suppliers, and related stakeholders. Together, they influence a $261 billion industry that supports about 1.8 million jobs nationwide. Based in Washington, D.C., the AGA positions itself as a representative body for the gambling facilities and casinos sector. Its activities focus on serving operators, providers, and suppliers across both land-based and online segments, addressing policy and regulatory challenges they face. A recent development is the organization’s May 2026 partnership with VIXIO GamblingCompliance to develop the State of the States report, reflecting collaboration on regulatory intelligence.
