American Security is a Fontana-based manufacturer of high-security safes with a history dating back to 1946. The company offers a broad lineup of more than 400 standard models that provide burglary and fire resistance across insurance classifications, from basic B-rate coverage to Underwriter’s Laboratories TL-15 and TL-30 ratings. Its U.S. facility focuses on both mass production and custom safes for home and business use, including cash-handling solutions tailored to banks, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and other industries. The operation is supported by a major West Coast distribution point with direct access to domestic and international freight services.

The company emphasizes service and quality, supported by dedicated customer service representatives, a staffed service department of factory-trained technicians, and a quality control function that aims to maintain high product standards. Its manufacturing capability is augmented by advanced equipment and a fully staffed engineering and design team that uses CAD to rapidly produce sales drawings, design changes, and precise manufacturing blueprints. In December 2021, American Security announced the launch of SureAccess, a keyless courier application, reflecting a recent expansion of its product and service offerings.
