The American Veterans Center preserves, honors, educates, and distributes in mass scale aspirational stories from the last 80 years of history. In short, we are the home of America's heroic memory, where history meets entertainment. Highlights of the AVC's work include: - The Emmy-winning annual Veterans Day television special, American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes bringing together legends of history with Hollywood A-listers and acclaimed entertainers. - The National Memorial Day Parade along Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC, the largest Memorial Day event in the nation, televised to 100 million homes on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox stations nationwide. - Digital content and first-person storytelling, with an audience of hundreds of millions of viewers on the AVC's YouTube channel and Facebook page. A division of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, the American Studies Center, the AVC leverages television and digital content to tap into the stories that unite us, appealing to our better angels and inspiring Americans to carry on the legacy built by generations before. Join us in this most rewarding of missions.
