America's Grow-a-Row is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, focused on providing fresh produce to people facing food insecurity. It grows, gleans, and donates fruits and vegetables, distributing to hunger-relief agencies across 29 states and through Free Farm Markets in communities with limited access to fresh food. The organization relies on a volunteer base of more than 14,000 annually and sources produce from its own farms as well as gleaned items from local supermarkets and partner farms.
Founded in 2002, the group has donated more than 100 million servings, equal to about 25 million pounds of fresh produce, over its history. It runs education programs on budget-friendly healthy eating, agriculture, and hunger awareness and has pursued collaborations with other organizations, including a partnership with B&G Foods in 2022.
