With a rich history dating back to 1913 (Airscrew) and 1894 (Muirhead), the organisation has been at the forefront of aerospace innovations for over a century. In 2004, AMETEK acquired both companies, further strengthening our expertise and capabilities. Our areas of expertise encompass both Active and Passive Cooling systems, including Vapour Cycle Systems, Environmental Control, Air-conditioning, Fans and Systems for cooling engines, gearboxes and avionics. Additionally, we excel in Heating solutions such as Heaters and Fan Heaters. Furthermore, our proficiency extends to Motion Control devices, which comprise High-Performance Motors, Angular Position Sensors, and Electro-Mechanical Actuators (EMA's).
