Who helps the helpers? We do. Amplify is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that leads the charge in strengthening behavioral health across 37 towns in North Central Connecticut. As the state-designated Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization (RBHAO), Amplify is committed to advancing practical, proven strategies that promote mental wellness, reduce substance misuse, prevent suicide, and address problem gambling. We work side by side with local leaders and frontline partners including law enforcement, first responders, healthcare providers, school districts, faith-based groups, and Local Prevention Councils, to bring real solutions to the table. Amplify does more than raise awareness - we help communities implement effective tools and strategies that drive meaningful outcomes, empowering them to take decisive action and strengthen their ability to support their community's health. Amplify actively incorporates local perspectives and firsthand experiences into all aspects of its work including review, evaluation, planning, and advocacy to ensure that its efforts are informed, responsive, and grounded in the realities of the local communities and families it serves.
