Established in Santa Barbara, California, as Dan Weber Architecture in 2008, Anacapa emerged in November 2016 to honor the collective contribution underlying our design ethos. Anacapa illustrates a connection to the Santa Barbara Channel’s ecological history and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the local community that has nurtured our vision. Our studio was founded in the Funk Zone on Anacapa Street, a distinct locality magnetized by lively grassroots commerce. This uncontested, hallowed ground nurtured our company’s roots and remains fundamental to our creative identity.
