Conducting polymers can be used as corrosion inhibitors was stated on 2000 Nobel Chemistry Award publication along with other brilliant applications. Since discovery of conducting polymer anti-corrosion effect in 1981, it had been uttered as an exciting environmentally friendly alternative to carcinogenic chromium pigments.  Thousands of research papers and patents have been published on conducting polymer anti-corrosion coating, but after 40 years of worldwide effort, AnCatt Inc. was the first one able to develop a successful conducting polymer based anti-corrosion coating technology with its unique conducting polymer nanodispersion (CPND) pigment that can provide unprecedented corrosion test results. In independent tests with 13,740 hours of salt fog test AnCatt CPND based coating has been shown significantly outperforms chromate, zinc, and other high performance anti-corrosion coatings from leading manufacturers worldwide.   AnCatt is the 1st place winner for ACS Green Chemistry and Engineering Competition, and the university of Delaware business plan competition.
