Anderson Porter Design began in 1994 as a generalist design practice; we have gained strong traction in regional multifamily housing and workplace design and national recognition in cannabis facility design. In our three decades of work, we have engaged with a diverse range of clients and project types, spanning residential, institutional, public, retail, and urban design work. 

Our foundation and approach are entrenched in the principles first investigated by Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus to today's Lean Construction practices. We are grounded in the practical and that which is informed by innovation and the iterative process of investigation, critique, and evolution.

Our evolution into the cannabis industry was a natural move inspired by our people-first philosophy of promoting health and sustainability in design. We have 10 years of experience in designing cultivation facilities, retail dispensaries and more. 

- Sustainable Housing  

Sustainable and cost-effective housing continues to be a pressing need. We bring a broad-based sustainable design approach together with innovations in project delivery and prefabrication to create healthy and high-performance dwellings for building owners and residents. 

- Workplace Design 

Competent workplaces play a significant role in inspiring employees and advancing an organization’s core mission. If their environment functions well and is built to last, so will the workers. Our expertise in designing workplaces allows us to create spaces that people are happy to spend time in and where they can get their job done efficiently.
