Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) is a small, all-volunteer nonprofit based in Baltimore, Maryland, operating in the consumer services sector. It concentrates on rescuing and facilitating the adoption of abandoned, abused, homeless, and neglected animals. The organization collaborates with rescue groups, shelters, animal care professionals, foster homes, and volunteers to place animals into well-matched, carefully screened permanent homes. Founded in 2012 in Baltimore by Arika Pevenstein and Sallyann Jennings, AARF emphasizes education and community involvement to raise awareness about animal abuse, the importance of spaying and neutering, and breed discrimination. Through its alliances and volunteer network, it aims to create a world where animals are safe, respected, and loved.
