Animal Rescue Corps is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization focused on protecting animals through direct action and education. As a 501(c)(3) entity, it conducts rescues of animals subjected to abuse or disaster, educates the public about animal suffering, and provides training and assessments for shelters, professionals, and volunteers. The group collaborates with government agencies, law enforcement, other animal protection organizations, and communities to strengthen humane relationships between humans and animals. Its mission centers on recognizing the intrinsic value of animal lives and advancing ethical standards in how society treats animals.

Although positioned as a national nonprofit, ARC emphasizes coalition-building and on-the-ground work. A recent development includes a 2026 partnership with National Mill Dog Rescue to rescue more than 60 dogs from commercial breeders, reflecting its hands-on rescue focus; the organization has also a history of collaborations with other welfare groups, such as a 2023 alliance with BISSELL Pet Foundation.
