Appel & Long LLP represents sports and entertainment properties in revenue-generating transactions and opportunities, along with handling general business matters and corporate transactions for select clients. 

Our core practice focuses upon advising and negotiating contracts relating to sports media, marketing, event, and other business-related matters for our clients.  Our attorneys have represented a wide range of sports properties and sponsors, including:

•	College and university athletic departments, in structuring and negotiating multimedia rights transactions, licensing of aggregated or “bundled” multimedia and marketing rights, sponsorships, and event and venue agreements;
•	College conferences, with regard to media rights agreements, sponsorship, and event and venue agreements;
•	Professional sports teams, in reviewing and negotiating sponsorship agreements, television and radio agreements, and other agreements related to the team's business affairs;
•	Event organizers, including sponsorship and sponsorship sales agency agreements, development and implementation of requests for proposals for site hosting of their events, and event and venue agreements; and
•	Sports marketing agencies, in a variety of transactions.

We also provide legal representation and advice to individual clients and businesses of all sizes in a wide variety of industries on general business matters and corporate transactions, such as entity formation and organization, operational issues and governance, commercial contracts, employment agreements, asset purchases and sales, and business succession.
