Nurse Recruitment Experts is a Houston-based firm operating in the healthcare staffing and recruitment sector. Since its founding in 2019, it has supported more than 175 healthcare organizations in the United States and Canada with sourcing and hiring over 15,000 candidates, while helping clients reduce agency fees by more than $100 million. The company targets HR and talent acquisition teams seeking to improve margins by shifting from cost centers to revenue contributors, offering services that include AI-enabled training and advisory on Copilot, custom Copilot agent development and deployment for teams, and grant pursuit and execution support for rural providers. It also runs social hiring campaigns designed to increase direct hires of nurses and physicians and reduce dependence on agencies. Its client list includes a mix of health systems, hospitals, and academic centers across North America, such as Oregon Department of Human Services, Peace Health, Columbia University, Kaiser Permanente, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Hennick Humber Hospital in Ontario. In 2024 the firm announced a contract with the Oregon Department of Human Services to recruit, market, and provide technical assistance for registered nurses. The leadership has received external recognition, with the president named to the Staffing Industry Analysts 40 Under 40 list in 2024, and the company has established a collaboration with First Advantage for background screening. The organization is headquartered in Houston and operates with a small to mid-sized team, serving a broad network of healthcare organizations.
