Applied Drawing Architecture & Design is an architectural design practice devoted to finding appropriate forms for the 21st century built environment. In our design work, we help clients envision and construct spaces that invite or provoke new types of inhabitation – new forms of daily life. We follow projects from schematic design and scenario planning through to construction administration, in order to ensure that the finished details live up to the original goals for each project. In our research and teaching, our current focus is on the role of digital technology in daily life. In 2014 we have completed two projects at the Storefront for Art and Architecture, where two types of digital interface engage viewers in interactions that blur boundaries between ‘real’ and ‘virtual’.
