The Archdiocese of Chicago, the third largest archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, serves more than 2.2 million Catholics in 221 parishes. Pastored by Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, the ninth Archbishop of Chicago since 2014, the archdiocese has more than 15,000 employees in its systems and ministries.
