At Architectural Enhancements we manufacture fine architectural mouldings. Originaly founded in 1985 we have since grown to carry a full line of crowns, casings, chair-rails, bases, and panel mouldings. These are all manufactured on site in our own mill, using solid high grade hardwoods including poplar, red oak, cherry, maple, pine and sapele. Within each category we offer many styles that are ornamentally enhanced with pressed embossed designs, carved applications and dentil enhancements. We also offer a new line of mouldings called “COMPO” mouldings. These beautifully detailed products are made by manufacturing a fine natural wood moulding in our factory. We then apply a layer of a special “composition” on top of the moulding. Once the “COMPO” dries it is just as hard as wood and can be stained or painted just like any wood moulding. There are no special preparations needed to finish it, just stain it or paint it like normal wood.
