Founded in 2010 by fund managers Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson, Ardevora was the opportunity for Jeremy and William to apply their experience of managing funds to their own venture. Their vision was simple: to run clients’ money in the same way they would look after their own, in a stimulating and enjoyable working environment. By viewing ourselves as clients we hope to put fairness at the heart of what we do. By viewing work not solely as a pursuit of money we hope to lay the foundations for a durable and robust business. We try hard to make sure everyone who works here feels fulfilled and our clients are happy. Ardevora is a private partnership and is wholly owned by partners active in the day to day running of the business. We have remained true to our founding principles with every client - regardless of size - receiving the same attention and clear communication from us. All our portfolios are managed in the same way, with a shared investment philosophy that doesn’t lose sight of risk when seeking reward. And we remain ambitious, but quietly so. We want to grow at a rate that works for us and our existing clients. In a world where most people seem to be in a permanent rush we are happy to move forwards in our own way.
