Ardmore is an established, suburban United Methodist church in the historic Ardmore community of Winston-Salem, NC. Our congregation is diverse and extremely mission-oriented. We offer three Sunday worship services: two traditional and one contemporary, with congregants of all ages in attendance. Wednesday evenings are a time of fellowship with a home-cooked meal, as well as Bible and small group studies afterward. Ardmore is a "seven day a week" church facility. We open our doors to the community in a number of ways including "Our Father's Table" bimonthly Food Pantry and Clothing Closet; continuing work with 2nd Harvest Food Bank and the Shalom Project; Samaritan Inn; the Children's Home; missionary support; Volunteers in Mission, and building teams. We always offer DISCIPLE Bible Study, and a host of other small group and Bible studies. We also have an active GriefShare ministry, and we host various community organization meetings. Our Through the Week Pre-school has been successful for fifty years, and we also offer children's and youth ministries, senior adult support, Boy and Girl Scouting, and a vibrant music program.
