Argent is headquartered in Chester, Virginia, and has four locations throughout the Richmond-metro area. The Credit Union was founded in 1956 originally to serve the employees of the DuPont Spruance facility in Chesterfield and now serves almost 30,000 members.

Membership is open to any person who lives, works, attends school, worships or volunteers in the counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, and the City of Richmond. It is also extended to immediate family members and housemates of eligible individuals, even if that individual is not a member.

Non-deposit investment products and services are offered through CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (“CFS”), a registered broker-dealer (Member FINRA/SIPC) and SEC Registered Investment Advisor. Products offered through CFS: are not NCUA/NCUSIF or otherwise federally insured, are not guarantees or obligations of the credit union, and may involve investment risk including possible loss of principal. Investment Representatives are registered through CFS. The Credit Union has contracted with CFS to make non-deposit investment products and services available to credit union members.
