Arizona Forward continues to make an enormous impact on sustainability and environmental efforts for the state of Arizona. The organization has successfully influenced quality of life decisions for the state since 1969. The organization brings key stakeholders together in government, the business community, city planning and economic development to make vital projects come to life. For the past 50 years, Arizona Forward has been involved in the development of key projects that have made a significant difference for the state’s businesses, residents and visitors. A few known projects include the development of the Rio Salado Development District (Tempe Town Lake) which is now being revitalized as Rio Reimagined, support of the City of Phoenix light rail and the transformation of city canals into transit-friendly, social and recreational hubs. Arizona Forward leverages its collective power by forming solid partnerships with Arizona business leaders and policymakers to drive how the state can best grow its communities, stimulate the economy and enhance the environment.
